Im Rahmen meiner Ausstellung befindet sich „Tita Venus“ in bester Gesellschaft. Sie ist mit zwei anderen Göttinnen „Nike“ und „Neptuns Tochter“ an der gleichen Wand zu sehen.
Tita strotzt in ihrer Farbigkeit und nicht zuletzt durch ihre glorreichen Kurven vor Energie und Lebenslust.
Ich bat das Modell, das Tita Venus verkörpern sollte, sich in eine klassischen Pose – frei nach der Skulptur „Reclining Figure 1929“ von Henry Moore – zu begeben.
Das Bild entstand im Malsaal der Facultad de Bellas Artes in Granada.
En el ámbito de mi exposición, "Tita Venus" está en la mejor compañía. Puede verse con dos diosas "Nike" y "Hija de Neptuno" en la misma pared.
Tita rebosa energía y alegría de vivir con su colorido y, sobre todo, con sus gloriosas curvas.
Le pedí a la modelo que iba a encarnar a Tita Venus que adoptara una pose clásica, basada en la escultura "Reclining Figure 1929" de Henry Moore.
La pintura se realizó en la sala de pintura de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Granada.
In the course of my exhibition, "Tita Venus" is in the best of company. She can be seen on the same wall with two other goddesses "Nike" and "Neptune's Daughter".
Tita brims with energy and joie de vivre in her vibrant colours and not least through her glorious curves.
I asked the model who was to embody Tita Venus to strike a classical pose - loosely based on the sculpture "Reclining Figure 1929" by Henry Moore.
The picture was taken in the painting hall of the Facultad de Bellas Artes in Granada.
