🇪🇸 El vídeo muestra el estado actual del grupo escultórico aún inacabado "Las Astronautas de Willendorf". Esta instalación, que se está ampliando continuamente, forma parte de la exposición ya existente "Houston, tenemos un problema" sobre el papel y la infrarrepresentación de la mujer en la astronáutica. El objetivo es crear una escultura para cada mujer astronauta. Ya se pueden admirar ocho esculturas de cerámica, una por cada mujer astronauta, que representan a las 69 mujeres astronautas de la historia hasta la actualidad. Por cierto, esta cifra contrasta con los casi 600 astronautas masculinos.

🇩🇪 Das Video zeigt den aktuellen Stand der noch nicht vollendeten Skulpturengruppe „Die Astronautinnen von Willendorf“. Diese kontinuierlich in Erweiterung befindliche Installation ist Bestandteil der bestehenden Ausstellung „Houston, we have a problem“ über die Rolle und Unterrepräsentation der Frau in der Astronautik. Ziel ist, für jede Astronautin eine Skulptur zu schaffen. Acht Keramikskulpturen, für jede Astronautin eine, die stellvertretend die bisher 69 Astronautinnen der Geschichte verkörpern, sind schon zu bestaunen. Dieser Zahl stehen übrigens knapp 600 männliche Astronauten gegenüber.

🇬🇧 The video shows the current stage of the not yet completed sculpture group "The female astronauts of Willendorf". This installation, which is continuously being expanded, is part of the existing exhibition "Houston, we have a problem" about the role and underrepresentation of women in astronautics. The aim is to create a sculpture for each female astronaut. Eight ceramic sculptures, one for each female astronaut, representing the 69 female astronauts in history so far, can already be viewed.
